The real estate brokerage Brown Harris Stevens (BHS) announced that the firm’s Fairfield County offices in Greenwich, Stamford, Darien, New Canaan, Rowayton, and Westport collected 150 coats in its third annual holiday season coat drive.
BHS has partnered with the nonprofit Button Up Connecticut to distribute the donations to individuals in need throughout the state.
“Beginning in October every year, Brown Harris Stevens agents get their clients and customers involved in collecting hundreds of gently used and new coats for Connecticut residents in need,” said Christopher Halstead, executive sales director. “We are honored to help so many in our community who are in need of warmth and protection from the cold. The simple act of donating a coat can make a significant difference.”
“We are thankful to BHS for using their capabilities, company and locations to contribute to this great cause of giving people coats,” added Button Up Connecticut’s founder Dan Siracusa.
