A Hudson Valley auto repair shop owner is being sought by the police after being accused of stealing a customer’s vehicle.
New York State Police are trying to find Carlos Vera, an owner of C&K Little Garage in Verplanck, a hamlet within the Town of Cortlandt, who allegedly stole a customer’s Ford F150 pickup truck after shutting down his business. The auto theft was reported on March 22 and Vera has not been located as of this writing.
According to C&K Little Garage”™s website, the company specialized in helping drivers “with any of your car troubles from the simplest oil changes to the hardest engine repairs.” The company”™s online reviews were mixed, with some customers praising Vera”™s honesty and customer care skills while others questioned his professionalism and competency.
