The Connecticut Green Bank presented three Fairfield County commercial properties with its annual PACEsetter Awards for advancing the cleantech movement through the organization”™s Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) program.
Winners included Con Edison Solutions and the Bridgeport Islamic Community Center for their 75kW solar installation at the Community Center, the Marriott Residence Inn in Stamford as the best new construction project and Ridgefield”™s West Lane Inn and Danbury”™s Eastern Mechanical Services Inc. for the replacement of the old oil heating system at the historic site with electric heat pumps.
Other winners included Omega Church in New Haven and Complete Building and Mechanicals of Guilford for their HVAC and lighting project and Marcus Communications in Bolton for the solar installation on its communications tower.
