Hudson Valley Economic Development Corp. (HVEDC) recently announced the addition of Jermaine Paul, community leader and musician to its board of directors.
Prior to winning the second season of NBC”™s “The Voice,” Paul toured professionally and worked in the music industry for 17 years as a vocalist, songwriter/arranger, producer and was co-nominated two years in a row for the 48th and 49th Grammy Awards for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals, in collaboration with Alicia Keys as a featured artist.
He began his first business venture, CJAS Music Inc., writing, producing and performing after his win and has added Jermaine Paul Entertainment, specializing in event entertainment to his enterprises.
Paul is also the pastor of East Berlin United Methodist Church and South Meriden Trinity United Methodist Church in Connecticut.
