The Greenwich Hospital Auxiliary has donated $792,000 to Greenwich Hospital to enhance surgical, cardiovascular and other services.

The donations included $386,000 for a neurosurgical microscope, $206,000 for a medical imaging device used in surgery, and $200,000 toward a five-year pledge of $1 million to support cardiovascular services.

The gifts were announced during the Auxiliary’s 66th annual meeting on Sept. 19, at which outgoing Auxiliary president Sally Lochner welcomed successor Christine Randolph of Larchmont, N.Y., and a new slate of officers, including vice president Teal Lindsay of Norwalk, treasurer Edward Farrell of Riverside, and secretary Laura Delaflor of Cos Cob.

To date, the Auxiliary has contributed close to $10.3 million through proceeds from its thrift shop, gift shop and annual fundraising efforts. The Auxiliary also funds annual scholarships for high school graduates studying for health care careers.
