The Blue Book Building and Construction Network in Jefferson Valley, which offers information and solutions for the commercial construction industry, said June 11 it had purchased the assets of Jobsite123.com L.L.C., including the Jobsite123 website and its pre-qualification system.
Jobsite123 will be integrated with thebluebook.com network and all related Internet-based software services beginning Jan. 1, 2014.
Since 1913, the Blue Book Network has focused on buying and hiring processes within the construction industry. It maintains a nationwide industry search engine and publishes 28 regional directories annually.
The Blue Book Network traces its start to Joseph O”™Malley, president of The Society of the Allied Building Trades Inc., who published the first Subcontractors Registry in New York City. The founder”™s nephew, Walter F. O”™Malley, later joined him in the construction publishing business as editor before moving on to own the Brooklyn Dodgers.
Richard Johnson, president of The Blue Book Network, said, “With our acquisition of the Jobsite123 profile system, we will enable our customers to showcase their project experience and supporting qualifications to companies looking for their products or services. This enhanced profile information will be readily available throughout the entire Blue Book network and the major search engines.”
Coty Fournier, co-founder and CEO of Jobsite123, is now vice president of network solutions for The Blue Book Network.
