Talks between the campaigns and networks including ABC continue regarding possible debates in October. Â
RFK Jr.: Political observers suggest that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. dropping out of the presidential contest and endorsing Donald Trump will have little if any effect on the contest between Trump and Kamala Harris. Polls have shown a steady erosion in support for Kennedy’s presidential run, with as few as 2% of likely voters saying in recent polling that they would vote for him. Despite Kennedy having endorsed Trump, it’s anticipated that about half of the Kennedy supporters would throw their support to Harris with half backing Trump.
