NASA will host a public meeting on May 31 at 10:30 a.m. EDT of its independent study team on categorizing and evaluating data of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), more commonly known to the public as unidentified flying objects (UFOs).
The full meeting will air on NASA Television, the NASA app, and the agency’s website through 2:30 p.m. The online link is https://www.nasa.gov/live.
NASA defines UAP as “observations of events in the sky that cannot be identified as aircraft or known natural phenomena from a scientific perspective.” The focus of this public meeting is to hold final deliberations before the agency’s independent study team publishes a report this summer.
In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act, the meeting includes an opportunity for public comment. NASA is now questions via an online form at https://nasa.cnf.io/sessions/hh4r/.
After the public hearing, NASA will hold a virtual post-meeting media teleconference, which the agency will stream audio live on its website.
Probably go something like this:
1. Most of these objects can be explained.
2. A small number have yet to be identified.
3. There is no evidence of extraterrestrial involvement.
4. Merits further study.
