The new Women’s Leadership Institute at the Manhattanville College School of Business on June 3 will hold a one-day conference, “Rising to the Challenge,” featuring workshops as well as keynote speeches from female business leaders.
Workshops will include “Leadership From the Inside Out,” “Essentials of Business and Financial Acumen,” “Take the Lead as CEO of Your Career” and “Get LinkedIn Savvy.”
Keynote speakers for the event will be Patricia Galloway, president and CEO of Pegasus Global Holdings Inc.; Vicki Escarra, global CEO, Opportunity International; and Evelyne R. Matthews, CEO of Matthews and Matthews Consulting.
“The breadth and depth of topics and opportunities at this leadership conference is unprecedented for women in the Hudson Valley and Connecticut,” said Kathryn Meany, director of the Women’s Leadership Institute.
“It is geared to women executives, women entrepreneurs and emerging women leaders, and will include highly interactive concurrent workshops, informative panel discussions, C-suite networking and action planning,” Meany added.
The school launched the Women’s Leadership Institute in January. It was designed to meet the leadership and professional development needs of women in the workplace through events and other programs.
The conference will be held at Reid Castle at Manhattanville College. Those interested can register on the school’s website.
