Northern Westchester Hospital Welcomes New Physicians
Brian Elliott, M.D. received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine, Durham, N.C. He completed his residency from Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York City and completed his fellowship in hematology and oncology from the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, Philadelphia, Pa., and Mount Sinai Medical Center. Elliott is a member of the Mount Kisco Medical Group and resides in Bronxville.
Maja Ilic, M.D. received her medical degree from the University of Zagreb Medical School, Croatia. She completed her residency and fellowship at Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, in pediatric neurology, and her fellowship in neurophysiology and epilepsy at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, New York City. Ilic is a member of Westchester Health and resides in White Plains.
Oliver Muensterer, M.D., Ph.D. received his medical degree from Ludwig Maximilians University, Munich, Germany. Â He completed his residency at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, N.C. in pediatrics and his fellowship in pediatric surgery at Birmingham Children”™s Hospital in Birmingham, Ala. Muensterer practices at Children”™s & Women”™s Physicians of Westchester in Valhalla, resides in New Rochelle.
Gustavo Stringel, M.D. received his medical degree from National Autonomous University of Mexico, Mexico City. He completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Toronto, Canada, and in pediatric surgery from The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. Stringel practices at Children”™s & Women”™s Physicians of Westchester in Valhalla, and resides in Larchmont.
Dara Cohen, M.D. received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine Bronx, and completed her residency in internal medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, Calif., and her fellowship in endocrinology from Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York City. Cohen is a member of Mount Kisco Medical Group and resides in Scarsdale.
Mark Loigman, M.D. received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, his residency in psychiatry from Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York City. Loigman practices psychiatry at Northern Westchester Hospital and resides in Larchmont.
Leslie Saland, M.D. received her medical degree and completed her residency in neurology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York City. She also completed her fellowship in clinical neurophysiology from New York University Medical Center, New York City, and multiple sclerosis from Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, New York City. Bradley Schwack, M.D. received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans, La., and completed his residency in general surgery from New York University Bellevue Medical Center, New York City. He also completed his fellowship in laparoscopic surgery in Norton Healthcare, Louisville, N.Y. Schwack practices and resides in New York City.
Anne Finger, P.A. received her degree from Albany Medical College, Albany, and is board certified as a physician assistant. Â She practices as a physician assistant and lives in New York City.

NEW PARTNERÂ AT CITRIN COOPERMAN
JOHN GENZ has joined Citrin Cooperman as a senior tax partner in the firm”™s New York City office. Genz brings more than 25 years of experience advising corporate clients on a broad range of tax and business matters, including mergers and acquisitions, tax controversy, state and local tax and tax credits and incentives. Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Genz was a partner at Eisner Amper. He is an expert in the area of film-production incentives, having consulted on more than 100 film and television productions in more than 20 state jurisdictions.
Genz frequently speaks and writes on current tax issues impacting businesses. His most recent speaking engagements include presentations for Bloomberg, the National Business Institute, numerous state CPA societies and Lorman Education Services.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an M.S.T. from Seton Hall University.

BARBARA VENTURI of Armonk is the 2013 recipient of the Lillian Vernon Award for Community Service. The award will be presented by the Women”™s Enterprise Development Center (WEDC), at its networking event Nov. 19.
Venturi is a co-founder and managing partner of AMBAR Realty Group L.L.C. She has been involved in various sectors of the real estate industry, including leasing, strategic planning, finance and development, for more than 20 years.
An active and dedicated WEDC volunteer for many years, Venturi has served as its president for the last three years. In that role she provided “outstanding leadership and guidance to the organization, but her lifelong commitment to mentoring and inspiring countless number of women entrepreneurs is a major reason for bestowing the Lillian Vernon award upon her,” according to the WEDC.
