DoubleTree by Hilton Tarrytown”™s General Manager Richard Friedman recently won the 2014 Outstanding General Manager of the Year award distributed by the New York State Hospitality & Tourism Association.
Friedman, who has been the general manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton Tarrytown at 455 S. Broadway since it reopened in 2008, will be recognized at the association”™s 21st annual Stars of the Industry Gala & Awards Banquet on March 3.
Each year, the state”™s hospitality industry nominates its most outstanding employees, said association president Jan Marie Chesterton. The Outstanding General Manager of the Year award recognizes a hotelier who demonstrates superior professionalism and has taken a leadership role in the industry by actively participating in programs, associations and communities.
