The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester opened Dec. 19 on a new street extension and at a new address, Three Renaissance Square, in downtown White Plains. The $600 million, 122-room luxury hotel built by developer Louis R. Cappelli of Cappelli Enterprises features two 44-story condominium towers. Banquet facilities, located on the second floor of the hotel, include a ballroom that can accommodate 350 to 500 guests and six suites bordering the floor-to-ceiling glass reception area overlooking the courtyard for smaller parties. Each suite can accommodate 30 to 120 guests.
The Ritz”™s first ballroom event, a real estate award breakfast for the March of Dimes, was held Dec. 20. Louis R. Cappelli and Cappelli Enterprises were honored “for their outstanding commercial real estate activities and charitable contributions in the community.”
