The Business Council of Westchester will present 40 up-and-coming business leaders with its 2015 Rising Star Awards on Thursday night.
Now in its 12th year, the awards program is modeled after the national business recognition program “Forty under Forty.” It recognizes individuals under the age of 40 who exemplify leadership, foresight and a vision for the future of Westchester County.
The event”™s keynote speaker will be Michael Fosina, senior vice president and chief operating officer of New York-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital. Tara Rosenblum of News 12 Westchester will be the master of ceremonies.
Guests will also include County Executive Robert P. Astorino; Marsha Gordon, president and CEO of The Business Council of Westchester; Tony Justic, chairman of the Business Council board of directors; and Maria Bronzi, chairwoman of the Rising Stars Leadership Council.
The event will be held at the Business Council’s headquarters at 800 Westchester Ave. in Rye Brook, from 5 to 8 p.m.
