Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry will invite five young lawyers from Kosovo to participate in its international exchange program. The college is looking for host families to welcome these professionals who are part of the Open World Leadership Program. The program brings small delegations of emerging leaders to the U.S. to learn about U.S. government and society.
These professionals will visit from Jan. 11-18  and participate in programs centered on topics including federalism, representative government, rule of law, health, environment, economic development, education reform and social services.
These lawyers will get the chance to experience American culture through the hosts’ families and home life. There will be an orientation in Washington, D.C., followed by a professional development program at Mercy College.
