Manhattanville College School of Business will host its eighth annual Sports Business Management Career Fair on Nov. 20, the school announced.
The free event, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Reid Castle on Manhattanville’s Purchase campus, will feature more than 30 sports industry exhibitors, including keynote speaker Brandon Steiner, founder and chairman of Steiner Sports Marketing and Memorabilia in New Rochelle. Â Hiring managers from organizations including ANC Sports Enterprises in Purchase, Sirius/XM Sports, the New York Mets, ESPN, Octagon, U.S.Tennis Association and Webster Bank Arena also will attend.
The college alaso will host an entrepreneurship panel in conjunction with the online publication “Latin Business Today.”
Dave Torromeo, director of Manhattanville’s sports business program, said the annual career fair is one of a number of events throughout the year that help students become immersed in the field.
“Based on the sport business curriculum we have developed, our convenient location, and relationships with sports business leaders, hosting events like this is a natural,” Torromeo said. “They are an invaluable tool for the industry and for students interested in a career in sports.”
Founded nine years ago, Manhattanville’s sports business management graduate program offers a master’s degree as well as a sports studies undergraduate program.
