The Manhattanville School of Business will host an open house for prospective graduate students from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Aug. 21 in Reid Castle on the college”™s Purchase campus.
The information session will provide an overview of the business school”™s graduate programs, advanced certificates, and what to expect when applying and after enrollment. Prospective students can meet with program directors, admissions staff and current students.
College officials said those who attend the open house will have their admissions application fee waived.
Scott Walsh, a professor in the business school, will make a 20-minute presentation on “Strategic Talent Management – New Paradigms for Employment in the 21st Century.” Manhattanville officials said Walsh will examine the impact of technological change and global competition on companies”™ current talent acquisition and development strategies and discuss the implications for new jobseekers”™ and current employees”™ success in the workplace. Particular emphasis will be placed on the critical role of the “knowledge worker.”
The Manhattanville School of Business offers graduate programs in business leadership, human resource management and organizational effectiveness, finance, international management, marketing communication management, and sport business management.
