Carrier Logistics Inc. in Tarrytown just introduced a subscription-based price scale for a transportation software suite.
The software developer in November launched the FACTS 10.5.1 software, a total freight management system.
“The current economic environment makes the utilization of cutting-edge software a must for transportation companies to survive, but it also makes it difficult to invest a large amount of capital so we developed a formula that would allow potential customers to deploy our enterprise software without the classic enterprise pricing approach,” said Ken Weinberg, vice president of sales. “The model eliminates the need for trucking companies to make large capital expenditures and take on sizeable upfront costs, so acquisition of our software is very attractive.”
Weinberg said the fixed monthly payments include all technical support and maintenance fees.
