An artistic muse across the decades

The Koenig Art Emporium in Mount Kisco has been in business for 28 years, according to owner Lisa Muse. Business has been “down like everyone else,” she said. But, as for her predictions for 2010, “hopefully we”™ll do better.” For 22 years, the store was on South Moger Avenue, but for seven years now it has been in a 3,100-square-foot space on Main Street.

Muse is an artist herself and enjoys working with pastels. Her favorite artist is Mary Cassatt.
