Waterbury-based Webster Bank has once again received a Gold Level Healthy Workplace Award from the Business Council of Fairfield County. The bank was one of 44 companies honored during an awards ceremony held in Stamford. Webster was cited for its employee wellness programs that include on-site events, health savings account deposits for participation in various preventive care activities, and automated progress trackers.
Tanya Court, the council”™s director of public policy and programs, noted that this is Webster”™s third Gold Level Healthy Workplace Award. It received them in 2015 and 2017 for outstanding achievement in implementing employee wellness programs.
This was the 10th year the business council has recognized Fairfield County employers for having healthy workplaces.
