On May 17, Westchester County Tourism & Film celebrated National Tourism Week with a workshop geared at building tourism markets and attracting more visitors to the county. National Tourism Week took place this year from May 7-13. The workshop was for those involved with hotels, cultural institutions and restaurants. Featured speaker was Jennifer Ackerson, president of Alon Marketing, who shared best practices on navigating and working with the travel trade.
The event was hosted by Cross County Shopping Center and Hyatt Place New York/Yonkers and the Westchester County Tourism & Film office.
