The third annual CEO Evolution event will feature insights into the secrets of success from three CEOs from high-level national and global companies.
At the June 15 event the University of Connecticut School of Business in Stamford will host William S. Simon, former president and CEO of Walmart U.S.; Margaret Keane, president and CEO of Synchrony Financial in Stamford, and Scott Gillis, senior managing director and co-founder of the Manhattan managing consulting firm Galt & Co.
“We have three distinguished leaders joining us for an exciting evening,” said John A. Elliott, dean of the UConn School of Business. “Convening important conversations that support not only our students but the larger professional community is an important part of our mission.”
The annual event was founded by Mark L. Fagan, the Connecticut office managing partner of the regional accounting, tax and business consulting firm Citrin Cooperman.
“My goal when I created The CEO Evolution was to delve deeply into the dynamic role and unique challenges facing today”™s CEOs,” Fagan said. “Our first two annual events brought together a fascinating panel of business leaders who captivated our audience. This year we are fortunate to have on our panel three visionary executives discussing issues ranging from how CEOs make and implement big decisions, to increasing profitability, to obtaining and retaining top talent.”
Last year”™s event featured panelists Anne M. Mulcahy, chairwoman of the Save the Children board of trustees; Denis J. Nayden, managing partner of Oak Hill Capital Partners, and Tom Kallish, CEO and founder of Tommie Copper.
The event has been consistently sponsored by Citrin Cooperman with support from Westfair Communications, publisher of the Westchester County and Fairfield County Business Journals.
“We applaud Citrin Cooperman for presenting this most provocative business discussion,” said Westfair Publisher Dee DelBello.
The panel discussion will run from 6 to 8 p.m. Registration information can be found online at Eventbrite.com.
