St. Christopher”™s Inc., a local organization that assists children with special needs and their families, will hire nearly 30 new employees at its Westchester and Orange County campuses in Dobbs Ferry, Valhalla and New Windsor.
The organization said the number of children being placed in residential treatment centers is growing exponentially.
“As we continue to experience a significant amount of intake, the need to fill these job vacancies is urgent in order to truly make an efficient difference in each of our residents”™ lives,” said Robert Maher, CEO of St. Christopher”™s.
St. Christopher’s is seeking full-time youth care counselors, shift supervisors and part-time drivers to provide services for adolescents with emotional, behavioral and educational needs at its residential treatment center in Dobbs Ferry. There are also full-time youth care counselor positions available at the organization’s Valhalla and New Windsor sites. Â
