Starling Physicians, which is based in Rocky Hill and has more than 290 health care providers covering 25 specialties in 30 locations, has selected Jarrod Post as its new CEO. Post has served as the group”™s chief medical officer since 2016.
Sarit Patel, Starling”™s board chairman, said, “He is an innovator in transforming health care and continues to ensure alignment between the company”™s business goals and clinical capabilities.”
Post is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology. He said, “My goal is for Starling to be a beacon of independent practice, where the sense of pride and ownership for the care of patients is harnessed through a truly clinician-owned model.”
Post succeeds Michael Genovesi who will continue as a pulmonologist with Starling for the remainder of 2018, and then will retire.
