The Pelham Art Center is flipping the calendar to 2018 and announcing its Winter Semester for Jan. 16 through March 23 featuring what it describes as “a rich range of artistic adventures for adults, children and teens.”
Children can learn digital art making with courses such as scratch coding, digital photography, experimental animation, 3-D computer modeling or 3-D printing and modeling. High school art students who want to build their portfolios for college can sign up for figure drawing. Drawing and painting teacher Eleanor Miller has added a Thursday morning class.
There are offerings for those who can”™t commit to a full semester, such as single afternoon workshops Winter Greenery (Jan. 25), Matchbox Valentines (Feb. 3), and Abstract Mixed Media (Feb. 15). More at pelhamartcenter.org/education.
