New York-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital has leased 15,000 square feet of office space for administrative staff at 2649 Strang Blvd. in Northern Westchester Executive Park in Yorktown Heights.
The 10-year lease was announced by GHP Office Realty LLC in West Harrison, owner of the 209,000-square-foot office park on 26 acres. The deal brings 2649 Strang Blvd., a 66,000-square-foot, Class A medical and office building, to full occupancy. GHP said the space will be used for administrative staff of both New York-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital and New York-Presbyterian Medical Group/Hudson Valley, a hospital-owned physician practice.
Jamie Schwartz, executive vice president of GHP, represented the building owner. Martin Cohen, senior vice president of real estate for New York-Presbyterian, represented the 128-bed community hospital in Cortlandt Manor.
Schwartz said the long-term lease will be worth more than $3 million.
The broker said GHP has leased over 58,000 square feet of office, medical and flex space in Yorktown Heights since acquiring the former Taconic Corporate Park in late 2014 from a special servicer for Bank of America after the previous owner defaulted on a $14.5 million mortgage.
Attorney Steven C. Hirsch, of Hirsch & Gibaldi LLP in Garden City, did the legal work for the landlord. Timothy P. Whelan, vice president and associate general counsel for real estate for New York-Presbyterian, was the hospital”™s legal representative.
