Laurence R. Marchini III was recently appointed by Greater Hudson Bank N.A. to the position of senior vice president and chief lending officer. Marchini has almost 20 years of banking, management, credit and lending experience and most recently held the position as president with Gotham Bank of New York He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Lawrence University.

Nicholas A. Shannon was recently named executive director of The Chamber Foundation Inc., an organization established in 2002 to promote education and training programs for area youth and professionals with the goal of enhancing the future of economic growth in the Hudson Valley region. Shannon previously was manager of special events for the Saint Francis Health Care Foundation. He has a degree in communication arts from Mount Saint Mary College.
Richard Cook recently joined The Healthcare Association of New York State (HANYS) as its chief operating officer. Since 2009, Cook served as deputy commissioner of the Department of Health”™s Office of Health Systems Management. Previously, he served for 12 years as executive vice president and chief planning officer at Albany Medical Center. Cook has a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Oneonta and a Masters in Political Science degree from SUNY Albany.
