Joshua A. Weinshank recently joined Milford law firm Berchem, Moses & Devlin P.C. as an associate focused in the area of trusts and estates. He will be resident in the firm”™s Milford and Westport offices. Weinshank received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Laws degree and J.D. from Western New England University School of Law.
Beth Baker of Meriden was recently named director of the student financial systems and programs for the student financial assistance department at Sacred Heart University. Additionally, she is working to administer community service and volunteer programs and will oversee some newly developed federal student aid programs.
Most recently, Baker served as director of student financial services for Saint Joseph College. She has an associate degree in science and general studies from Mohegan Community College, a bachelor”™s degree in science and business administration from Sacred Heart University, and a master”™s degree in science, management and information technology from Rensselaer Polytechnic.
Lisa Johnson was recently hired by OperationsInc, a Norwalk company specializing in human resources (HR) solutions for small businesses and HR professionals, as director of training and development services. She will be expanding the already extensive series of training services offered by the company and will lead the newly expanded training team.
Johnson has a Bachelor of Science degree in business economics from the State University New York College at Oneonta.
Bruce Moore Jr. was recently named vice president, operations, of Eastern Land Management (ELM) and is now responsible for all day-to-day activities at the regional provider of commercial landscaping and design. Moore, who most recently served as director of ELM, joined the company in 2005 after earning a degree in business management from Curry College.
