JEANNEEN V. GRIFFIN of Madison, previously of People”™s Bank, has recently been appointed first vice president and team leader of First Niagara Financial Group Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Lending. Griffin will manage a commercial real estate loan portfolio and lead a team of CRE lenders throughout Connecticut, Westchester County, N.Y., and northern New Jersey. Griffin holds a bachelor”™s degree in economics from Eastern Connecticut State University.

DEBORAH REJENT of Woodbridge, previously of the University Of Maryland School Of Social Work, has recently been named associate professor and founding director of the Master of Social Work program in the College of Arts and Sciences at Quinnipiac University. Rejent holds a doctorate and a master”™s degree in social work from Columbia University and a master”™s and bachelor”™s degree in anthropology from the University of California.

GLENN G. RYBACKI, previously of Robinson & Cole L.L.P., has recently joined Day Pitney as counsel in its corporate and business law department. Rybacki has extensive experience representing issuers of tax-exempt and taxable bonds as bond counsel and representing underwriters, lenders, borrowers and trustees in debt transactions. Rybacki holds a Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree from Providence College.
