Danbury Hospital and Norwalk Hospital, both of which are within the Western Connecticut Health Network (WCHN), have been named to the 2017 list of “Healthcare”™s Most Wired Hospitals and Health Systems.” The list is prepared by Health & Hospitals Networks magazine, a publication for health systems nationally, along with the American Hospital Association and technology experts.
“This award demonstrates the dedicated and vigilant steps our IT (information technology) team provides to our patients and health care teams on a daily basis,” said Kathy DeMatteo, chief information officer of the health network. “We congratulate our IT team for their ceaseless efforts to ensure health information access is safe, confidential and accurate.”
