Westport resident James Krouse has been named a partner at BlumShapiro, a regional business advisory firm with offices in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Krouse, who is a CPA, is at the BlumShapiro tax department in Shelton.
He joined the firm in 2017 from Grant Thornton, where he served as tax director. Krouse is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He received his bachelor”™s degree from Washington State University and a Master of Science in Taxation degree from Golden Gate University.
