Julia Portale of New Canaan has been appointed vice president, community services for The Jewish Home in Fairfield. Previously, Portale worked for 16 years at Pfizer in New York as a senior director on a number of Medicare and managed-care programs. She holds an undergraduate degree from Antioch College and master”™s degrees from both the University of Pennsylvania and Yale University.
