Adapting theater to the Covid-19 era
When the Covid-19 pandemic took root last year, Ridgefield”™s nonprofit Thrown Stone Theatre Co. had to postpone its 2020 season until summer of 2021.
When it became apparent that inviting an indoor audience might not be a feasible option, the company settled on roving production set among three Ridgefield sites: the Keeler Tavern Museum and History Center, the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum and West Lane Inn, with the audience following the action from location to location.
The original one-act plays centered around the theme of “The Suburbs,” and viewing suburban environments through a nonwhite perspective.
