Dig Inn Seasonal Market, a farm-to-table fast casual chain with 11 locations in Manhattan, will open in Rye Ridge Shopping Center in the fall.
Rye Ridge’s leasing agent, Win Properties, announced the move June 2. The location’s will be Dig Inn’s first outside of New York City.
The chain was launched in 2011 by Adam Eskin, a former Merrill Lynch, trader. The restaurant says it serves locally sourced, organic food. Dig Inn has been compared to Chipotle, a chain it will share the Rye Brook plaza with, for its farm-to-table focus.
The lease is for more than 3,200 square feet of space, formerly occupied by Family Discount.
Erin Hinchey, leasing manager of Win Properties, called Dig Inn a “perfect fit” for the shopping center.
“They are the only farm-to-table, locally-sourced, organic, fast casual dining option and it speaks volumes that their first location outside of Manhattan is Rye Ridge,” Hinchey said.
