Norwalk Community College President David L. Levinson signed the President”™s Entrepreneurship Pledge with the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE). Presidents who have signed the pledge have committed to join the NACCE and UP American (formerly the White House initiative StartUp America) to encourage economic growth through entrepreneurship.
Levinson has committed to the NACCE Five Action Steps for Creating Economic Vitality Through Entrepreneurship to advance entrepreneurship in their communities, including creating or expanding internal and external teams dedicated to entrepreneurship, increasing entrepreneurs”™ engagement in community colleges, engaging in industry cluster development, leveraging both community college and community assets to spur innovation and job creation and creating broad exposure of college commitment to entrepreneurship.
