A Bronx-based developer, Bajraktari Realty Management Corp., last month closed on its $9.25 million purchase of 10 County Center Road, a 208,000-square-foot office building next to the Westchester County Center in White Plains.
The seller, an affiliate of Ascot Properties NYC LLC, was represented by brokers at Rand Commercial, which announced the deal. CBRE Brokerage Services was the listing broker.
The building, which straddles the border of the town of Greenburgh and the city of White Plains, has a 55 percent occupancy rate.
Manhattan-based Ascot Properties acquired the property from UBS AG for $6.95 million in 2010, according to county land records. UBS Investment Bank in 2009 was owed about $14.93 million on a $22.9 million mortgage by the previous owner of 10 County Center, an entity of GHP Office Realty in West Harrison, when the lender took over the deed to the property.
Bajraktari Management owns and operates more than 70 commercial and residential buildings in the Bronx, Manhattan and Yonkers, according to the company website.
