ArtsWestchester, a nonprofit arts council, will showcase artistic works, food tastings and craft beer its annual ArtsBash fundraiser on Friday, May 20.Â
The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at ArtsWestchester’s headquarters at 31 Mamaroneck Ave. in White Plains.
More than 20 artists will exhibit their work, and more than 30 area restaurants will be offering samplings of their food. Due to the council”™s partnership with beer retailer Half Time, the event will also offer craft beer selections.
“From the arts perspective, collaboration with Half Time and local craft breweries will help ArtsWestchester attract young professionals to our gallery and to our unique arts events,” said Janet T. Langsam, CEO of ArtsWestchester. Langsam added that partnerships with the food and beverage industries are “a win-win for the cultural consumer.”
