The Arc of Westchester Foundation raised more than $400,000 at its 14th annual “A Matter of Taste” fundraiser. Nearly 400 attended the Oct. 17 event at the Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle.
The foundation raises funds to support Arc of Westchester”™s programs and services for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families, while increasing public awareness of Arc”™s activities.
George and Laura Landegger accepted the Family Partner Award honoring their family”™s service to the organization. Richard P. Swierat, Arc”™s executive director, received the first Legacy Award for his 35 years of leadership.
