Fairfield resident Noël Appel has been named vice president of the Greenwich Hospital Foundation and its chief development officer effective March 19.
She joins the hospital from her position as vice president of development and alumni relations at The New School in New York City. While there, she launched new fundraising programs with goals totaling $100 million.
“Noël”™s more than 20 years of experience will be an asset to the Greenwich Hospital Foundation,” said Norman G. Roth, the hospital”™s president and chief executive officer.
Previously, Appel was an associate dean of development at Northeastern University in Boston and assistant vice president of development at Fairfield University. She holds bachelor”™s and master”™s degrees from Fairfield University.
