The second annual Hospitality Educational Summit, an event highlighting and discussing trends in the hotel industry, will be held Thursday at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown.
The event, which will run from noon to 6 p.m., was developed by Hospitality Resource Group Inc. of White Plains in partnership with the Westchester Hotel Association and the Westchester Office of Tourism and Film. In a press release, Hospitality Resource Group said the summit will serve as a way for area business leaders and managers to meet and discuss growing trends and practices in hospitality.
The keynote speaker will be Peter Kelly, founder and owner, Xaviars Restaurant Group, which includes X20 Xaviars on the Hudson in Yonkers. The program will also feature a roundtable and luncheon to present the first annual Hospitality Scholarship Award. Event Leadership Institute Executive Director Howard Givner will also present during the summit, “Event Planning ”“ An Insider’s Guide to Site Selection.”
