Xerox has named Pete Peterson senior vice president of global channel strategy. As the team leader, Peterson will be responsible for revenue and profit growth, as well as executing targeted investments across direct and indirect channels worldwide, according to Xerox.
The move reflects the Norwalk company”™s focus on enhancing and expanding its channel reach, particularly in the $20 billion multibrand reseller space, by providing partners a broader set of products, solutions and vertically integrated tools, technology and service delivery processes. Part of Peterson”™s job will be pitching prospective partners Xerox”™s 29 new printers and multifunction devices, rolled out last month in the largest product launch in the company”™s 110-year history.
Peterson previously led the sales organization at Tessco Technologies. Prior to that he spent 20 years at Tech Data, one of the world”™s largest distributors of technology products, services and solutions, where he progressed through sales and marketing roles, ultimately serving as senior vice president of sales for the U.S.
