A new support and networking group for small-business owners, Peekskill Small Business Owners Meetup, is bringing together Peekskill-based businesses and companies that do a primary portion of their business in the northern Westchester city to discuss pertinent topics and share best practices and resources.
Started in November by Matt Spector, a State Farm insurance agent, the group meets monthly, with a different business each month hosting the 1 ½-hour discussions.
“This group is an opportunity for local businesses to come together and support one another along our individual journeys to success,” Spector said in a press release. “It”™s a no-pressure environment; just ordinary people sharing challenges, best practices, resources and helping each other solve problems. By sharing advice and connecting with one another we can become a stronger business community at large.”
