The Business Council of Westchester will kick off its annual Westchester Business Expo at noon Wednesday with a keynote speech by Brandon Steiner, founder and CEO of Steiner Sports Marketing in New Rochelle.
A Brooklyn native and Scarsdale resident, Steiner is the author of the 2012 autobiography “You Gotta Have Balls,” the rags-to-riches story of how he started his sports marketing and memorabilia business with $4,000 in capital and one intern and grew it to a company that employs 100 people and brings in $50 million in annual sales.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will follow Steiner”™s appearance at 1 p.m. The exposition floor at the Hilton Westchester Hotel in Rye Brook will be open from 1 to 5 p.m.
The Business Council this month became the hotel”™s Rye Brook neighbor when it relocated its headquarters from Corporate Park Drive in Harrison to 800 Westchester Ave.
A Business Council spokesman said the event is expected to draw more than 2,000 visitors and will feature more than 150 exhibitors from dozens of industries.
