While some parents may be having second thoughts about allowing their children to go trick-or-treating in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, Spirit Halloween has announced the return its pop-up retail stores to the region.
In Fairfield County, Spirit Halloween will operate two locations in Danbury plus a store in Norwalk. Across the New York border, Spirit Halloween stores will be found in Hartsdale, Mohegan Lake, Nanuet, Newburgh, Peekskill, Poughkeepsie, Wappingers Falls, West Nyack, White Plains and Yonkers.
Spirit Halloween plans to operate 1,400 pop-up stores across the country, primarily in vacant retail sites, offering merchandise that includes Halloween costumes for children and adults plus decorations and accessories for the holiday.
“We are less than a month away from our first store openings, and Spirit Halloween is on time and ready to go,” CEO Steven Silverstein said. “We are excited to start welcoming our seasonal team members for Halloween 2020. It”™s been a challenging year, but a Saturday Halloween provides a great escape. We need Halloween now, more than ever.”
