An Arlington, Va.-based organic burger chain is now scouting sites to develop seven Elevation Burger locations in Westchester and Fairfield counties.
Former head of publisher Metro New York Inc., Daniel Magnus, will open seven units through a newly announced multiunit franchising deal in New York and the first company franchise in Connecticut.
Franchise units are $30,000 each, which includes territory and franchise fees, said Michael Berger, a partner at Elevation Burger.
“With the addition of Daniel Magnus to the Elevation Burger franchise, I”™m very pleased with the way we are penetrating the New York tri-state market both in New York City and now the surrounding counties,” said Hans Hess, CEO, Elevation Burger, in a statement. “Elevation Burger continues to grow and I”™m very happy with the caliber of franchisees we continue to attract.”
Berger said three units were sold in New York City and one is “now in design at 14th Street and Sixth Avenue in the Union Square neighborhood.”
A total of 58 franchise units have been sold with six in operation.
The fast casual dining concept features USDA-certified organic, grass-fed, free-range beef burgers and French fries cooked in olive oil.
