Ridgefield”™s newest restaurant is The Benjamin, which will be opening on June 6.
The new establishment is an American-focused / French-inspired restaurant and bar based at 20 West Lane, the former home of Bernard”™s and Sarah”™s Wine Bar.
According to coverage in HamletHub, the new restaurant is owned by Dave Studwell and Rob Moss of Norwalk”™s Washington Prime and B.J. Lawless of BJ Ryan”™s Restaurant Group, also in Norwalk. The Benjamin is named in honor of Benjamin Franklin, and its Franco-American cuisine is a tribute to his years as the nation”™s diplomatic representative to France during the Revolutionary War.
