Riko”™s Pizza will be opening its latest Fairfield County location on Feb. 17 at 1920 Black Rock Turnpike in Fairfield.
The new eatery will take over the space former occupied by Ole Dog Tavern, which closed last year after four years in business. Before that, the space belonged to the family-owned restaurant Cinzano”™s, which was a staple of Fairfield”™s dining scene for three decades. Brothers-in-law Jay FitzGerald and Charlie Aysseh are the owners of this new Riko”™s franchise.
Riko”™s Pizza also operates two eateries in Stamford and one in Norwalk, with another planned for 934 Boston Post Road in Darien later this year. The chain also has a presence in Long Island and Florida.
