Dutchess County”™s newest restaurant is bringing a Greek vibe to the Hudson Valley.
Mazà at 7588 North Broadway in Red Hook is owned and operated by Taso Giannoulis, who is also the chef and owner at Enzo’s Ristorante & Pizza in Kingston. Giannoulis is a Red Hook native and his new venture will be open six days a week, with Tuesday at the sole dark day.
On its website, Mazà promised that Giannoulis will be “incorporating traditional Greek flavors and techniques into his cooking while also infusing his dishes with his own creative twists ”¦ Taso recognizes that cooking is not just about preparing delicious meals, but also about creating a warm and inviting environment that fosters a sense of community and togetherness. He believes that food is a way of bringing people together, and that the atmosphere in which it is consumed can greatly enhance the experience.”
