It”™s not every day that someone gets banned from a McDonald”™s (NYSE:MCD) restaurant, but one customer at the fast-food eatery at 390 Monroe Turnpike in Monroe has been ordered by the police never to return.
According to a report in The Monroe Sun, an unnamed Westbrook man arrived at the McDonalds on Feb. 8 shortly after 10:00 a.m. and ordered six breakfast sandwiches and three hot coffees at the drive-thru window, then drove to a designated parking space wait for the order to be delivered. The manager delivered the sandwiches but forgot the coffee, so the customer followed him back inside to retrieve them ”“ but then asked for a Diet Coke. However, the customer insisted the soda should be free because of the inconvenience of having to retrieve the coffees, but the manager refused and said he was going to bring the coffees to his car.
The customer left but returned again with one of the sandwiches demanding that it be replaced because it contained bagel dressing. When told that all breakfast bagel sandwiches have that dressing, the customer put the sandwich on the counter, slammed his hand on it and left.
The McDonald”™s manager took down the customer”™s license plate number and called the police. Although the customer was not arrested, the police told him not to return to that McDonald”™s.
