Progenics Pharmaceuticals Inc. has signed a 10-year lease for 149,000 square feet at The Landmark at Eastview, the life sciences campus on Old Saw Mill River Road in the towns of Greenburgh and Mount Pleasant. Progenics has been headquartered there for more than a decade.
Patricia Ardigo, first vice president and director of the CB Richard Ellis Life Sciences Group, and Robert Caruso, senior managing director of CBRE”™s Westchester-Fairfield operation, represented the tenant in the transaction. William Kane, director of leasing and acquisitions for the property”™s management, BioMed Realty Trust, Inc., represented the owner, BMR-Landmark at Eastview L.L.C.
Ardigo said the Landmark”™s sophisticated research and development facilities “have proven to be the ideal environment to support the firm”™s research and growth.”
Progenics develops and markets innovative therapeutic products to treat the unmet medical needs of patients with debilitating conditions and life-threatening diseases, focusing principally on supportive care, virology and oncology. The company is developing and clinically testing antibody inhibitors for human immunodeficiency virus and hepatitis C and treatments for prostate cancer.
SRS Stores Inc. held a Jan. 10 grand opening in New Rochelle for its seventh ShopRite supermarket in Westchester County. The approximately 70,000-square-foot store is in the 104,000-square-foot, former Home Depot Expo Design Center building at 8 Joyce Road.

The largest ShopRite in Westchester, it is expected to add about 300 jobs in New Rochelle. It will uniquely feature an on-site registered dietitian to provide free daily customer consultations and to hold cooking classes and monthly health screenings.
ShopRite supermarkets are members of Wakefern Food Corp., a retailer-owned cooperative in Keasbey, N.J.
