Pelham Manor Shopping Plaza will be fully occupied for the first time since the retail complex opened in 2008.
The shopping center”™s owner, Oak Brook, Ill.-based Retail Properties of America Inc., announced that discount variety store chain Dollar Tree signed a lease for a 12,767-square-foot space.
“We are excited to achieve a 100 percent leased rate at Pelham Manor Shopping Plaza, while also bringing another national retailer to the community,” said Greg Goldberg, Retail Properties of America”™s vice president and leasing director for its north region. “Dollar Tree is the perfect complement to the other national retailers already at the center and we look forward to their grand opening.”
The shopping center has BJ”™s Wholesale Club, PetSmart, Michaels, and Five Guys Burgers and Fries, among other tenants. Dollar Tree is expected to open in November, next to Five Guys.
The 228,000-square-foot shopping center is on Pelham Parkway between Boston Post Road and Secor Lane. It was acquired by Retail Properties of America in 2013 for approximately $58.5 million from White Plains-based Acadia Realty Trust.
Retail Properties of America is a publicly traded real estate investment trust that owns 224 retail properties nationwide.
